It's Game Day Weekend-WHOOP!
It's Game Time!
The 2018-19 Football Season has begun with a bang. The arrival of Jimbo Fisher as the new Coach for Texas A&M has put a spark in that Aggie Spirit and it’s calling all Aggies home full of hope for more success!
There's An App For That
This weekend we’ll have another evening game which leaves Friday night and Saturday open - wondering how you fill that time until you can start tailgating? Well, there is an APP for that…..
You’ll want to don your maroon apparel and download the APP called DESTINATION AGGIELAND. This APP will virtually guide you through Aggieland no matter which sport you are following with up-to-date information about Lodging, Restaurants, Events and Things To Do as well as a Venue Map, and links to Social Media!
Once you arrive into town for game weekend you’ll notice that there is a little bit more traffic than usual……this APP actually can provide live traffic conditions and make you wish you could take the shuttle to the game instead of trying to figure out which road to take to which parking garage that only has space if you arrive really early — well, this APP also provides Shuttle Info. And if you don’t want to deal with any of that - UBER it!
Downtown Bryan hosts “Football Fridays” which features a FREE concert each Friday night before a Texas A&M home football game weekend, giving fans a chance to enjoy Historic Downtown Bryan shopping and dining before heading to campus. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. All concerts will end by 10:30 p.m. so there is enough time to get to Midnight Yell!
Fans are encouraged to return to Downtown Bryan for a free game day shuttle on Saturday. Pickup/drop-off is on Regent Street between the Clara B. Mounce Library and the Roy G. Kelly Parking Garage. Parking in surface spaces is free, and garage parking is $10/day.
No matter what you do or don’t do in Aggieland. Do it with that proud Aggie Spirit and have a great time!
